Level 2 Principles Of Manual Handling
The Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling addresses common manual handling injuries and equipment, among other fundamentals of manual handling. This course covers its material in the span of a half-day; it is a theoretical course with no hands-on exercises. This course is ideal for all workplaces seeking to reduce the risk of manual handling injuries, such as those that may occur while lifting objects. Given that manual handling is responsible for more than one-third of all workplace injuries, it is critical that working environments minimise the risk of such injuries through knowledge and awareness of the associated dangers. A regulated course, the Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling is a nationally recognised credential.
Who is the course for?
This theory-based training course imparts fundamental knowledge and raises awareness regarding the hazards associated with hazardous manual handling. As a result, it is suitable for all employees in the workplace.
Assessment and Certification
A variety of learning methods will be integrated throughout the course in order to optimise the student’s educational experience. A knowledge-testing multiple-choice examination will be administered at the end of the course. All delegates will be equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and certification necessary to implement the strategies outlined in the course to reduce the risk of hazardous manual handling in their respective workplaces.
Every three years, it is recommended that you complete a half-day course for manual handling knowledge refresher training.
